In 2020, John Bonee '70 (shown at the center of the photo), provided this description:
"This picture was from the 1969 yearbook. It shows me, [John Bonee], in the spring of ‘69 about to be invested/initiated into the Society of Bacchus for my fraternity, Theta Xi. I had no idea that an entire gallon of mead from the gods was about to land upon my crown having exited the silver goblet retained in a special fraternity tabernacle for the annual event. To my left is candidate and classmate Carlo Forzani and to my right is candidate and classmate Scott Donahue.
My date from Conn. College, Lucy Eastman, is in the top right with an expression of total horror on her face and to the top left are Bill O'Reilly from the class of 1971 with his date with expressions of complete shock and amazement. George Simon class of 1969 is the exalted grand Wizard."
